Annual Boiler Service Pre-Payment Plan

Our boiler service consists of:
2. Discuss any observations that the customer has had regarding their heating system, faults, symptoms as well as any work that has been carried out.
3. Visual inspection of the boiler, boiler location, controls, system layout, condense run, PRV and termination.
4. Visual inspection of the ventilation, both path and size if applicable.
5. Visual inspection of internal flue run including any flues in voids.
6. Visual inspection of external flue and terminal.
7. Checked complete operation of boiler, including hot water temperature and flow rate, central heating flow and return temperatures and system pressure.
8. Check for any fault history.
9. Check inhibitor strength, PH value and clean the system filter (replace seals if necessary).
10. Perform flue integrity check prior to removing case, boiler must be set to max service mode.
11. Perform basic electrical checks, polarity, earthing and fuse rating.
12. Perform a negative fan pressure test to determine the condition of the primary heat exchanger.
13. Clean heat exchanger and burner if required under neg fan pressure test, renew disturbed gas seals inspect electrodes and change if required. Best practice to perform this task and change electrodes and seal every 5 years.
15. Check and record the working and operating gas pressures.
16. Check and record CO2 and CO ppm readings and adjust if necessary (model dependant), boiler must be set to maximum and minimum in the service mode. Investigate anomalous.
17. Check and record gas rate, boiler must be set to max service mode.
18. Complete a local soundness test on boiler using LDF or gas leak detection device.
19. Re-check appliance for any faults and correct operation.
20. Test flame failure device in accordance with 26.9, recommend to isolate gas isolation valve and wait for fault.
21. If applicable issue any warning notices.
22. Ensure the installation manual service record is completed.
23. Reset and check control settings are set appropriately, including timers, thermostats and boiler stats.
24. Inform the customer of any issues and advised remedial work, discuss any further topics and handover completed documentation.
25. Confirm controls and operation of the boiler with the customer.
26. Confirm most economical control settings to customer.
27. Work area left clean and tidy.
